I moved here a year ago and have been unsuccessful in finding Recreation Activities and Classes- I have concluded that the city does not sponsor any besides a few sports programs. This Museum would include the native American history of this area which has been very well documented by archaeologist at Redstone Arsenal. Continuing all the way until the more contemporary history of Huntsville and the importance of our city in regards to the space industry. Perhaps Huntsville City/Madison County Schools would be interested in partnering with one of the local colleges to create a Career Center program where high school juniors and seniors (who qualify) can be bused to the college for half day career training programs that make them entry-level ready for certain technical jobs upon high school graduation. The community of North Huntsville needs a library that can offer more than what's being offered at the current libraries in that area. The libraries can't accommodate someone wanting a meeting room, there's no true computer lab-- limited public computers even though they offer free WiFi--- there's very few outlets for people to plug in devices, and it's not enough room; too cozy for comfort at times....there's a whole ...more »
