Turn Old Grissom High into a Community Center

Use the campus of Grissom High as the starting point for a new community center. With the library already moving there, and the auditorium begging for community theater, the basics are already in place. Base other Huntsville community-type initiatives from there (i.e. meet at Grissom for 'Walk with the Doc'). Lay out a running route of various distances. Riverboat cruise / casino

Huntsville is truly blessed by being near a major scenic river, the Tennessee River. There has been a lot of discussion on LinkedIn lately on bringing a riverboat cruise to our city. This could also tie us closer with our neighbor cities along the river. As an added option, this boat could carry a casino. SE HUNTSVILLE

when I moved here in 1965, SE Huntsville was nothing but cotton fields, a gas station and the post office. The very 1st bike path was installed on Weatherly Rd in 1971. Haysland Square was up and running. We were promised improvements, restaurants, bowling, place for older kids to hang out. There is nothing. And now Hsv is pushing to build up downtown area.
